Mandy Brydon is a qualified Myotherapist, in which she studied and completed her Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage (Myotherapy) in 2013 at The Health Arts (THA) college in Box Hill, Victoria. She began her remedial studies in 2000, to which studied with Central school of Tactile Therapies. Mandy also studied Bowen Therapy with International School of Bowen Therapy (ISBT) in 2002 and again in 2004, to compliment with her Remedial training.
In 2014, she studied and completed the certificate IV of Aromatherapy, also at The Health Arts (THA) college, and in 2017 completed her studies in Advanced Diploma of Aromatic Medicine, at Aminya Acadamy of Natural Therapies. In 2015, she completed Therapy 1 certificate in Dr. Voddar's Manual Lymph Drainage at Dr. Voddar's school International over in Perth, and completed Manual Lymph Drainage and Combined Decongestive Therapy in Melbourne 2017.
In highlight of her career, Mandy had the privilege to travel to Japan in October 2002 with the Transplant Olympic Games team for Australia to support her brother and the rest of the team whom have had organ transplants. In July 2008, Mandy had the opportunity to meet and massage the Hi5 children's entertainment entertainers, whom came and performed at the Warragul Art Centre.
Mandy's Journey
Mandy grew up and still resides in the beautiful Gippsland country town of Warragul, and her interests have always been in horses, and has been involved with them for over 20 years. It was through her love for horses combined with the power and gentleness from these great and majestic creatures, that rescued her from a chronic illness that nearly costed her life, she never looked back. Mandy had thought about to pursue in a career in animals but instead through her journey of self-discovery, personal growth and healing, she discovered the Art of Massage and fell right into it.
Mandy's own healing has driven her with a strong passion to help others with their healing. Mandy specialises in pain management which gives her much joy and contentment in knowing she can help others in their muscular pain and stress relief. Myotherapy and Aromatherapy is Mandy's passion and her love in which she has found her calling and her gift.
